This adversity comes in the form of a deranged fan who has adopted her characters as his own family. He will stop at nothing to keep his “family” from being distorted by a camera lens. Once Malcolm’s business partner is murdered and Nicole begins getting hate-mail, she and Malcolm are terrified for their safety. They know what lengths this creep will go to to destroy them both. There are no fingerprints or DNA evidence to be collected by the police, so they are no help and in fact suspect the two for the death of his business partner.

Their love ran amuck before; should they attempt a reconciliation? With a demented fan- turned -killer closing in, Nicole can only be saved by Malcolm, and she wonders desperately if he will make a stand in her behalf.

Sargeant skillfully draws us into this contemporary romance/mystery. A sure thing, her intriguing and true-to-life-characters keep us involved in this story of deception, desire and danger.
