Gavyn Donatti is a thief - it’s pretty much all he’s good at, and he’s
not even that good at it. When he’s asked to steal an artifact which he then
loses, he finds himself in a whole heap of trouble. And who is Ian, the
man who mysteriously wants to help him?
When Donatti discovers the world of Djinn and that he has an important
part to play in Djinn politics, he finds himself teaming up with Ian and
his ex-lover Jazz, along with another thief and his djinn lover. The
story gets more complex as the characters uncover dodgy goings-on with
the master-thief Trevor, and their lives are all endangered.
Master of None was a real surprise - an original plot and non-stop action
with a shot of romance thrown in. I didn’t know what to expect, but the
story grabbed my attention from the first page. Since this book leaves plenty of
options open at the end, I imagine
there will be other books in this series to follow. I look forward to reading them.
