Adele Parks knows how to tell a hot, steamy love story, and in Still Thinking of You, she does so with a sizzling style and captivating plotline that make it impossible to put this book down. Chick lit has plenty of fans eager to grab up the next book that will have their toes curling, and Parks delivers with a big tale of two lovers who must brave the intrusion of lust, temptation and friends as they try to move into a new phase of their own relationship.
The story focuses on Rich and Tash, two British lovers who are ready to tie the knot - until they go away with a group of friends for a pre-nuptial vacation of sorts. While at a French ski resort, they learn that, despite their pledge of honesty and loyalty, sometimes temptation is just too great to resist. They also learn that the friends they thought they knew so well are hiding secrets, big secrets, of their own.
The author, who also wrote Lust for Life and has no doubt built a legion of loyal readers, fuses great characters with real depth, natural dialogue and intricate complications many readers will readily identify with in their own relationship struggles. I wonít tell you if the book has a happy ending (thatís not my job), but I will say this book kept me reading until the wee hours, and into the next day, casting a spell of good, solid writing and characters you can really care about.
