Lucy Monroe is at it again with the amazing Super Spies of the Goddard Project Agency. This next installment in the series brings in a new agent to TGP, one who happens to be the brother of one of TGP’s infamous spies—the super-sexy, super-intelligent combatant Elle Gray. The action that unfolds at ETRD in Watch Over Me follows the events in Monroe’s previous installment.
Mykola Chernichenko
no longer works undercover on the borders. After hearing word that his sister had become a top target
of one of the world’s most vicious personages, Myk’s only option is to join TGP and get assigned to a new location. The unexpected attraction between Myk and hot scientist Lana Ericson only makes the new assignment more enjoyable.
Lana’s lack of proper social skills can’t be helped given her extremely high intelligence and unfortunate past experiences, but
beyond her odd quirks is a sexiness that Myk can’t seem to resist. She is at
once the embodiment of Myk’s fantasies and the number one target of his
adversaries. Fortunately for him, Lana finds Myk to be an absolutely tasty dream worth
taking her time to taste.
While the seriousness of the case that brought Myk to ETRD has not been forgotten, it takes several
frightening situations to secure Lana’s cooperation for her personal safety. Attempting to avoid the parallels of a terrible time in her life, Lana’s
resistance to being caged proves costly to someone else who means a great deal to her.
Now she has few options but to step up and fight or step back and hope. Lana’s knowledge and experience allow her the chance to fight back against those who would take her life’s work and use it for evil reasons. Her only career-minded goal is to feed the starving, but
some want to take such knowledge and try to turn rags to riches.
Myk knows this woman is special; she is so much more than anyone he has ever known,
and he feels the draw of attraction between them every time she is near. When the case is over, will he be able to continue life without her? What does she want from him
- and for them? Their worlds are so different, yet their lives bend toward a common purpose and with a singular heightened intensity.
Lucy Monroe adds another winner to her list of successes. Mykola is a fantastic addition to her super-spy entourage and really makes the novel a spicy pleasure.
Watch Over Me falls into the usual pattern of her other TGP-themed books, but her characters possess greater charm this time around. As with Satisfaction Guaranteed,
Watch Over Me showcases Monroe’s humor in her leading lady's interactions with her Super Spy.
