Author Cynthia Eden is back with another hit shifter fantasy novel rich in suspense and intrigue. The ever-imaginative Eden has definitely found her niche in the paranormal romance arena. Eternal Hunter, Eden’s latest shifter adventure, is both darker and filled with a much more predatory nature than most of her previous novels.

Jude Donovan is an elite bounty hunter whose skills have brought down - or in - some of the worst of the worst. He’s an Other: a rare shifter undeniably near the top of the food chain. There have been few threats capable of eliciting much fear from the daunting Jude Donovan—until Erin Jerome.

Assistant DA Erin Jerome is new in town, and already a major case is drawing much more attention than she would like. Somewhere out there roams a killer with an unusual taste for bloody, violent crimes—and they’re all gifts to her. Deep, dark secrets haunt her life. The determined Jude Donovan means to out all of them.

An unsecured maniac leaves telling signs at the home of the new DA, and it is only logical that bounty hunter Jude Donovan be assigned to protect the helpless woman. The fact that he is nearly stupid in his desires for her is hardly noticeable—or so he thinks—and has absolutely nothing to do with his volunteering to stay with her - alone - at her house. Heaven knows her reciprocated attraction to him won’t lead to anything with a psychotic killer prowling just outside the door. Or will it?

Dangerous games unravel the fragile safety net Erin has built around herself. The monster in the dark makes his presence known, tracking her, hunting her for his devilish delights, yet he just may find that the real monster is the prey of his own fanatical hunt. Do unto others as you wish to have done unto you…

Cynthia Eden growing assortment of tempting novels within the paranormal romance genre run along a typical theme: the protagonists give into dark desires while simultaneously staying on the defensive in deadly fights for their lives. What Eden is able to do with this generalized theme is delightfully creative. Each new novel is full of the paranormal, lust, love, danger, violence and mystery; exciting new characters, settings and storylines keep the pages turning with true heat. Eternal Hunter is the first novel in her new series.

Readers fond of Cynthia Eden’s work might also enjoy comparable authors such as Sherrill Quinn, Shelly Laurenston or Sydney Croft. Quinn and Laurenston have contributed works to compilations with Eden on multiple occasions, Belong to the Night and When He Was Bad to name a few.
