This bizarre yet thoroughly original novel about the UFO sightings at Roswell in 1947, spiritual warfare, demon possession, and channeling through human beings also features the secrecy of the U.S. government in respect to scientific discoveries and is based on scriptural references.
Our story revolves around two military families: Lieutenant Colonel James Morgan of the United States Air Force, his wife, Laura, and their daughter, Lori; and Captain Clark Lansing, his wife, and his son, Mark. Lansing was Morgan’s co-pilot in 1947 - the year the UFO was found at Roswell. While on maneuvers, Captain Lansing disappears from his seat, his seatbelt still locked. The government covers it up.
Twenty years later, their children, Lori and Mark (a Marine) meet and promptly fall in love. Lori’s father begins having bad visions and walking and talking - chanting in Hebrew and Greek - in his sleep. Morgan’s wife tapes him one night, and he does not speak either Hebrew or Greek. The tape is taken to the Professor of Foreign Languages at the university, who lent his expertise to the Lansing family. Again on maneuvers, this time it is Lansing who disappears from a plane that crashes to earth with full burners on. None of his remains are found at the crash site, but he is pronounced dead anyway.
Enter Laura’s young pastor, Christopher Banyon, and his fiancé, Susie. Chris with his biblical knowledge and Susie with her knowledgeable and certain, peaceful faith are helpful during the various ordeals these two families endure to get to the truth.
Author and end-times prophecy expert Terry James believes that it is no coincidence that there has been a dramatic increase in strange sightings and encounters since the 1947 Roswell incident as global crisis is reaching unprecedented levels. His take on the “Nephilim” in Genesis is a possible explanation for alien abduction - satanic hybrids of sexual union between fallen angels (demons) and women. Such interdimensional abomination took place, according to the Biblical account during the time of Noah. The similarity between the abduction experiences and demonic possession is very, very close, says James. One of the evil objectives of these sexual unions is to create a non-human society on earth which would be impossible to be redeemed by Christ during the tribulation as described in the book of Revelation.
Even-paced fiction with futuristic/fantasy features, The Rapture Dialogues keeps you guessing as important details are not revealed until the end. With a thoroughly engaging style, James holds your attention and teases you with probable incidents throughout this very entertaining read.
