Last year’s love affair with the rambunctious puppy Marley has left the book field wide open for stories about dogs and their owner/companions. In a society where people spends millions of dollars on their family pets each year, it was just a matter of time before those people wanted to hear a heartfelt “thank you” from said pet. Such is the field of the pet psychic and their telepathic abilities to tell what an animal is thinking, feeling or desiring.

Author Tim Link is a self-proclaimed pet psychic who specializes in Reiki energy healing and animal communications, and he shares in Wagging Tales some of the encounters he has experienced with animals. One such story is of Frazier, the dog who became aggressive after being adopted. Frazier’s owner was disappointed in the change of behavior and returned the dog to the shelter. Link visited Frazier at the shelter and “talked” with him about his behavior. The dog communicated that there had been changes in the home, that he did not walk as much, that he was left alone much of the time and that made him nervous. Link confirmed with the owner that a new job and new schedule had made long walks more difficult. Frazier, meanwhile, was adopted by a shelter volunteer and given a new “forever home.”

Tawny the “wonder cat” was a shelter cat who ran away from a prospective owner and escaped into the woods behind the shelter. Author Link was able to communicate telepathically with Tawny and, because of certain physical responses, felt that Tawny was dead. However, weeks later, Tawny returns to the shelter injured but very much alive.

Whether you are a believer in this type of animal communication, or whether you are simply an animal lover, you will enjoy the stories presented here.
