becomes entangled in a world of drugs and sex and suffers the consequences of her poor choices. When her world begins to crash around her, is there any hope that she can salvage her club and her life?
The Velvet Rope is porn masquerading as chick lit. Readers should be highly warned that there are many extremely sexually explicit
situations. As erotica goes, this might have been excusable had the plot been worthwhile; unfortunately, in this case it is not. There is really nothing redeeming or uplifting about the story at all. Tiffany makes one bad choice after another, getting wrapped up in things that she knows she should not be wrapped up in. And Malik and the others aren’t much better. In fact, they are all poster children for showing what can happen if you get messed up in such things.
