Read, Remember, Recommend is a well thought-out multipurpose book journal. It contains over 2500 book recommendations, 60 formatted pages to record what was read, and three practical sections to help the reader keep track of books lent out, books recommended to others, and books that are waiting to be read.

Although the journal is spiral bound, all 314 pages turn easily and lie flat. The paper is thick, the text easy to read and the contents searchable. A References and Resources section at the end of the journal provides online links to book awards, book blogs, bookstores, and book club information. Originally self-published in 2007, this 2010 edition has a soft cover that may not withstand all the use it will garner. However, with its inclusion of classic and contemporary book suggestions, popular and lesser-known book award winners from around the world, and interactive records and lists, this journal will get many readers excited.
