If you loved watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on TV and witnessing Spike and Buffy's relationship unfold, you will go crazy for Kresley Cole's latest in her Immortals after Dark vampire series. The latest in the trilogy, No Rest for the Wicked, is Sebastian and Kaderin's story.
Sebastian Wroth
was turned into a vampire against his will, thanks to his brothers after a war wound would
otherwise have taken his life. After a century of hatred, not knowing why he is alive,
and refusing to suck anyone's blood, Sebastian grows weak - until one day he meets his bride.
Kaderin the cold-hearted has lost her twin sisters to vampires and is out for blood
- literally - until she runs into Sebastian and discovers not all vampires are bad; not all vampires
even want to be vampires. But she can never succumb to her desires for this unwanted vampire, because that would mean
turning her back on her sisters and the effort to get them back.
And in order to get them back, she must become a pawn in a dangerous, wicked game full of evil and inflexible determination. But Sebastian cannot stand by and watch her in
this futile game to win back something that is long gone. So begins a partnership that will test the very strength of their love for each other.
No Rest for the Wicked is full of highly satisfying sexual scenes and never disappoints in regard to the development of the characters and the storyline. If you have ever enjoyed the Disney tale of Beauty and the Beast,
this will be a definite keeper on your bookshelf - if only to go back from time to time and read those sex scenes.
