Comedy by the Numbers doesn't work for me. I've tried it in every room in the house. It sat on the kitchen table to be perused over cereal and milk. It rested on the coffee table for browsing during TV commercials. It balanced on the sink for bathroom reading.

Nothing - not a giggle nor a smile. Better to watch a marathon of standup comedians on Comedy Central. Then I'd at least have a slight chance of seeing something original, during a commercial.

Every book has its niche. This one belongs in a freshman boy's dorm room, next to the case of beer.
